Jewish man told to take off yarmulke in Dunkin’ Donuts attack

New York – The New York Police Department has been given first class evidence by a quick thinking Yeshiva University student. The 20-year-old was a customer in Dunkin’ Donuts store when he was threatened and told to take off his yarmulke in what police are investigating as a hate crime.2016-03-06-20-28-52--2104413799

The student was inside the shop when a man told him his “religion was a lie,” police said.

The suspect then told the student to “take that thing off your head,” referring to the victim’s yarmulke, before saying, “let’s go outside, I’ll beat the s**t out of you,” according to the NYPD.

However, the victim managed to get a photo of the man and his car’s license plate.
